Please take a moment while SJ talks you through whats happening re classes passes and memberships during coronavirus:
We have tried to answer all the questions we think you may have:
In terms of the 6 months we have some flexibility as these don't need to be all used until the end of 2020. So if you haven't started yet - then leave it for now, the latest you can start is July 2020.
Those that have started the 6 months or on the 12 months we plan on delivering as much as we can online and offer option of open session where you can come into the studio and have access but we need to have low numbers on this and still work out how this will work, please keep an eye on your emails for updates.
The issue comes to us as a small business if we start to have sales from 2020 carry into 2021 - honestly - our cash flow will not survive. We simply wouldn't survive financially most likely having to close the doors forever. This is such a horrible situation - we don't have all the answers, and we don't know how this is all going to go - I don't think anyone does. This doesn't help you, its not your fault - it's not our either, we are all just here trying to make sense of this and be here for you after this settles.
The online sessions we are trying to keep a sense of normality and service to you all, and also keep the teachers here getting paid. By providing online classes the teachers here keep getting an income and we keep delivering for you. But if this isn't going to suit - there would be no point in us delivering anything.
We ask for your help, patience and support. We are sorry we can't promise you extensions to your memberships - we hope you see the amazing value of what we offer here at TYPP and how much value your membership offers. We hope we can see you back to normal very soon.
This is really difficult for all involved in this, we will review this ongoing and have some flexibility with class passes for adding a short extension. What that looks like right now - honestly we don't know. We have no idea how long we have to close for - we have as much information as you.
But to stress if we had to promise the earth all that will happen is we simply wont survive financially most likely having to close the doors forever. This is such a horrible situation - we don't have all the answers, and we don't know how this is all going to go - I don't think anyone does.
This doesn't help you, its not your fault - it's not ours either, we are all just here trying to make sense of this and be here for you after this settles.

We ask for your help, patience and support. We are sorry we can't promise you inevitable extensions - we hope you see the amazing value of what we offer here at TYPP and how much value your classes offer. We hope we can see you back to normal very soon.
We have opened up all your class passes on your account - so no matter what you are on you can book any of the classes that we are starting to add to the schedule.
You book the class the same way you normally do and then all you do is around an hour before the class you will be sent a link to join in live.
Good news is you will also have access to the online vault of classes - as in them all. If you are a member you have this now all the time 24/7. If you are on passes when you book each class you get access to this for 24 hours.
When you are live we will talk to you, we interact, you can type to ask questions too.
We are not open for 1-1 sessions at present.

If it's Pilates you want to get started with then Reformer Pilates is superior to mat based Pilates as the repertoire of exercises available is greatly increased providing far more variety. Reformer exercises work muscles through a large range of motion which is ideal for building and toning muscles as well increasing stability through the joints.
It works more areas than matwork as matwork is mostly core whereas reformer works the entire body and more the peripheral muscles of the arms and legs.
Reformer Pilates is great for rehab purposes too as it allows you to exercise in a horizontal plane of motion and not be vertically loaded and weight bearing through their legs.
For example if you have had knee surgery or a knee injury, this horizontal plane enables you to strengthen the muscles of the leg through a larger range of motion using a lighter resistance than their body weight, speeding up recovery through controlled movement.
Reformer Pilates can be used as a sport specific cross training tool. Reformer Pilates works on core stabilisation which is vital to any athlete as well as muscle endurance, lactate tolerance, peripheral joint stability, muscle strength, balance, co-ordination and much more.
Pre and post natal on the Reformer is a great place to ensure you stay active during your pregnancy and after. Ideal to keep your pelvis stable and also build pelvic floor strength. For post natal you are welcome 6 weeks after normal delivery and generally 12 weeks with c-section.
Our Kick Start Reformer Pilates package is all you need to get started on the reformer. It costs £149 and includes:
- 1-1 Fundamentals Reformer session with a trained Pilates teacher (valued at £48)
- 10 reformer group class passes (valued at £180) More information can be found here
