Yoga Flow Posture and Alignment
This class is ideal for those who are new to yoga and wish to pick up a practice in a slow, safe, and supportive manner. Key alignment and posture techniques will be explained and applied through a variety of methods until the body learns the various actions needed for each posture. We will work closely with the breath - building breath awareness, lung expansion, and increasing energy (prana) in the body. We end each session with a deep relaxation to nourish the mind, body, and soul.
Vinyasa flow yoga is a full spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga. It is an innovative, energetic, creative technique to cultivate inner and outer strength and fluidity. It combines each posture into a rhythmic sequence or flow of positions, promoting overall wellbeing, flexibility, vitality and stress release.
Vinyasa flow encourages a higher level of health and fitness; building on endurance, power, agility and creating heightened levels of energy.
